Board of Supervisors
The Wilkinson County Board of Supervisors serves as the governing body of Wilkinson County and represents citizens throughout the County's five supervisor districts.
Regular Board Meeting Schedule
First Monday of each month at 9:30 a.m.
Meetings are held in the Board Meeting Room at the Chancery Court Building. If the regular meeting date falls on a holiday, the Board meets on the next working day following the holiday.
Additional or special meetings may be scheduled as needed. Contact the Board Office to confirm upcoming meeting dates.
About the Board
The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Wilkinson County. The Board establishes goals and objectives for County government and carries out responsibilities established by Mississippi law.
One Supervisor is elected from each of Wilkinson County's five districts to serve a four-year term. The Board oversees County operations, adopts ordinances and resolutions, and approves the annual County budget and millage rate.
Supervisors also oversee matters involving County roads, bridges, facilities, equipment, services, and other responsibilities assigned to County government.

Board Meetings
Regular Meetings
The Board of Supervisors meets on the first Monday of each month in the Board Meeting Room at the Chancery Court Building.
Meeting Time
Regular meetings begin at 9:30 a.m. unless otherwise announced.
Holiday Schedule
If a regularly scheduled meeting falls on a holiday, the Board meets on the next working day following the holiday.
Special Meetings
The Board may schedule additional or special meetings as necessary to address County business or emergencies.
Open to the Public
Board meetings are open to the public in accordance with applicable Mississippi law.
Request to Appear Before the Board
Individuals who wish to appear before the Board of Supervisors regarding a County matter must notify the Board Office no later than noon on the Wednesday prior to the Monday meeting.
Supporting documents, exhibits, or other materials related to the matter should also be delivered to the Board Office by the same deadline.
If you have already been placed on the agenda and need to cancel your appearance or withdraw an agenda item, please contact the Board Office before the meeting.
