About the Purchasing Department
The Wilkinson County Purchasing Department is responsible for coordinating the purchase of equipment, heavy equipment, machinery, supplies, commodities, materials, and services used by County offices and departments whose expenditures are subject to approval by the Wilkinson County Board of Supervisors.
The Purchasing Department works with County departments and vendors to support County operations while following applicable purchasing procedures, policies, and Mississippi procurement requirements.
