Welcome to the Wilkinson County Chancery Clerk's Office. Our office serves the citizens of Wilkinson County through a variety of court, land-record, county-government, and public-record functions.

Office Services
Land & Property Records
Recording and maintaining deeds, mortgages, liens, and other documents relating to real property.
Chancery Court Records
Maintaining records associated with Chancery Court matters, including estates, guardianships, conservatorships, domestic matters, and property cases.
Board of Supervisors
Serving as Clerk to the Wilkinson County Board of Supervisors and maintaining the Board's official records and minutes.
County Records
Maintaining and preserving various public and county records in accordance with applicable Mississippi law and record-retention requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities
Clerk to the Board of Supervisors
The Chancery Clerk serves as Clerk to the Wilkinson County Board of Supervisors and maintains the official minutes and records of Board proceedings.
County Financial Records
The office performs financial and recordkeeping duties associated with county government, including preparation and maintenance of claims and other financial records submitted to or approved by the Board of Supervisors.
Public Recorder
The Chancery Clerk records and preserves many types of public documents. These include deeds, mortgages, construction and other liens, federal tax liens, notices of pending legal actions, military discharge records, and other documents authorized for recording.
Land & Property Records
The office maintains indexes and records that assist property owners, attorneys, title professionals, surveyors, and members of the public in researching real-property records in Wilkinson County.
Clerk of Chancery Court
As Clerk of the Chancery Court, the office maintains records and performs filing duties for matters that may include estates, guardianships, conservatorships, divorce, child custody, adoption, property disputes, and other matters within the jurisdiction of the Chancery Court.
Records Preservation
The Chancery Clerk's Office is responsible for the preservation, storage, and authorized disposition of many county records in accordance with applicable retention requirements.
